Our bureau relies upon volunteers to help us to provide the advice people need for the problems they face and to improve the policies and practices that affect people’s lives.
We recruit volunteers for a variety of roles.
Come and join a dedicated & supportive team, learn new skills and develop existing experience.
Our advice and support services are delivered by a workforce that reflects the diversity of our local communities regardless gender, age race or ethnicity, religion or belief, disability or LGBT status.
Most of our volunteers live in or near Barking & Dagenham. We particularly encourage applications & interest from local people who live here or in surrounding boroughs.
The volunteer roles we have available are:
- Gateway Assessor Volunteer
- Reception Volunteer
- Administrator Volunteer
- Adviser Volunteer
- Social Policy Volunteer
